I've just installed the LO snap (6.3.2.2-snap1). I was shocked when I found there was no native PostgresQL driver. Why has it been left out when other drivers have been included?
This is the first time I've installed a "major" application as a snap. Everything I've looked at so far seems to work - that's good - thank you. LO Base is important. This LO snap is very convenient. However, without the PostgresQL driver I will be forced to abandon using the snap, as I know of no other way of connecting to the PostgresQL server running on my localhost. It is now almost a year since this problem was posted. Is there a timeline for resolving this? Thank you for your time and effort building this snap. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1797942 Title: [snap] missing postgresql SDBC driver Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Initially reported on the snapcraft forum: https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/call-for-testing-libreoffice-6-1-0/6654/7 The snap is currently built with --disable-postgresql-sdbc. This was always the case, since the very first version of the snap, and I haven't investigated why.
