Title:
Brightness and Volume laptop keys behave inconsistently
Status in One Hundred Papercuts:
Expired
Status in gnome-power-manager package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Holding the volume up button causes the volume to continually go up.
The same doesn't work for brightness - the button has to be repeatedly
pressed.
This inconsistency can be confusing for users. I believe the
preferable behaviour is that of the volume buttons.
