If I see it happen again I will do that, because then it would be a
meaningful test, but so far I've only seen this happen once, so unless
it happens again so we can get some idea of how frequent it is, the
inconvenience of removing the extensions -- which I use every day -- for
an indeterminate period of time is not justified.

  [nvidia] Screen displays weird broken animation behavior when I unlock

Bug description:
  I sat down at my computer this morning and unlocked the screen and saw
  the behavior shown in the attached video. I waited a while and it
  never stopped. I hit Alt-L to lock the screen again which worked, and
  then unlocked it again, which worked.
