Upgrading to 19.10 also broke my backup. Danesh's workaround works for
me as well. I tried the pip/Python2 version, but that didn't work.

Title:
BackendException: PyDrive backend requires PyDrive installation
Status in deja-dup package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I have deja-dup configured to do a back up to Google Drive. This
worked until like a month or two ago, at which point it started to
print
BackendException: PyDrive backend requires PyDrive installation. Please read
the manpage for setup details.
Exception: No module named 'pydrive'
There does not seem to be a pydrive module in the archive; and I
thought it is using GOA anyway?
