Thanks for the report Alberto.
This is a symptom of a known problem, namely that snaps shouldn't auto-refresh
if there's one of the apps currently running. This is being addressed by
https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/wip-refresh-app-awareness/10736. Until this is
live for everyone, I'd suggest running:
snap set core experimental.refresh-app-awareness=true

[snap] Icons missing after automatic snap refresh

Bug description:
I had my browser running for a long time, noticed that when saving a
page or downloading a file, icons in the save dialog are missing (see
attached screenshot).
Checking "snap info chromium", it seems the snap has been recently
refreshed, so I still had the older version of the app running.
Restarting the browser fixed it.
