Title: Snap packages sources are not stated on listings Status in gnome-software package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: As shown in the attaching (flathub_source_good.png), flathub packages shown in listings with the: 'source: dl.flathub.org' shown directily without having to click into the application package. This is not the case for Snap packages. You have to click into the listing to find out if it is a SNAP package or not. This is confusing these days as you can have the same package from multiple sources (ubuntu source, SNAP, flathub...) SNAP sources should be shown the same way. A user would want to know the source, especially if it is a SNAP/flatpak because they would associate it with more frequent updates and the other benefits of the packaging. Ideally you could also filter based on the source as well To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1854379/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
