Title:
  Add WPA3-SAE (WPA3-Personal)

Status in network-manager-applet package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
With the release of fixes for bug #1844422, support for WPA3-SAE was
added to respectively Network-Manager and Gnome-Shell for Eoan.

What is missing is WPA3-SAE support for the NM-Applet, this matters for those
that do not use Gnome as their desktop environment.
(Note: NM-Applet is part of the "network-manager-gnome" package, as is the
nm-connection-editor).

Currently, WPA3-SAE support for NM-Applet (which is at ver. 1.8.22-2ubuntu1)
is non-existent.
This leads to problems when using the applet for connecting to Wi-Fi networks
that have WPA3-enabled, even if WPA2 is also available for said network.

  [Problem Description]:
When trying to connect to my AP's WLAN (which is set to WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode)
using NM-Applet, the authentication dialog will popup, but the password field
is missing, so connecting to the WLAN, using the applet is impossible.
(I've added a screenshot depicting the issue).

NM-connection-editor for Eoan, as of now, lacks support for WPA3-SAE
so when connected to the WLAN using WPA3 "Wifi-Security is shown as
"None" and NM-connection-editor does not offer the option to set
  security to WPA3.

  [Resolution]:
Support for WPA3-SAE for NM-applet was finalized upstream last week.

The following commit (merge-requests) depicts the changes made:

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/network-manager-applet/commit/1b59bb544f565ae4d8cdebe0645d41acbcb63b6f

A more detailed view of the individual commits can be found here:

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/network-manager-applet/commits/master?utf8=%E2%9C%93&search=sae

Please back-port WPA3-SAE support (which is available upstream) to
  network-manager-applet for Ubuntu 19.10.

  TL;DR
So this is a request to back-port WPA3-SAE support to network-manager-applet
for Ubuntu Eoan.
