This issue is fixed for me (as merlijn-sebrechts predicted on Discourse) via: Auto-refresh snap "gtk-common-themes".
Kubuntu 19.10 Fixed: mouse pointer was a traditional sharp pointer. Now it uses my preferred KDE default pointer. Fixed: mouse pointer over links was "retro looking left pointing hand". Now it uses expected upward pointing hand as found in other apps such as Firefox. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1833611 Title: [snap] mouse pointer on Ubuntu flavours is retro-looking when hovering over links Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: This is a follow-up to Community Hub post: https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/call-for-testing-chromium-browser-deb-to-snap-transition/11179/52?u=paulw2u The installation of the deb to snap transition (for all major Ubuntu flavours) was in a live environment using ISOs dated 20190618 or 20190620. This installed Chromium 75.0.3770.80 or 75.0.3770.90 depending on the date of the test. In Ubuntu and Ubuntu Budgie the mouse pointer, when hovering over a link, appears as an upward pointing black hand which is as expected. But in Ubuntu MATE, Kubuntu, Lubuntu and Xubuntu the mouse pointer appears as a retro looking left pointing white hand.
