Although it's only partly useful to move modal dialogs. At best you'd be able to move them out the way to see what's below, which is useful for reading and copying information. You'd still never be able to interact with what's below them because they're modal. Also note you can move modal dialogs if the parent window is smaller. It just moves both at once :) ** Bug watch added: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/issues #2124 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/issues/2124 ** Also affects: gnome-shell via https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/issues/2124 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1860279 Title: Cannot drag a modal window. So: I've experienced this issue for the first time with the Firefox: 1. Perform whatever which ends up with the "Save as" dialog window. 2. The dialog opens in the centre of the screen. **What happened** The modal window is not movable to other position. **What did you expect to happen** I can move the modal dialog box to a whatever position.
