I think it is too slow, I don't know whether there is a way to make it faster, "show applications" is very frequent action. I install deppin15.10 in my virtualbox, assin 2GB mem and 1 cpu core.Deepin has almost the same feature , but deepin only take 0.5 seconds to get result.
