The resolution makes me chuckle. If this is a warning or an error in my
system log it means I need to pay attention to it. Otherwise the log
entry should not be a warning or at least it should have verbiage
hinting this is not really a warning for me (it even sounds oxymoron :D
)

As a side note, if a project emits too many warnings that need to be
ignored this leads to developers also ignoring or missing important and
relevant warnings that otherwise would be noticed. It is a bad practice
to leave warnings that can be ignored; its also often a sign that the
project needs more attention or lacks competent supervision.

Title:
[pulseaudio] backend-ofono.c: Failed to register as a handsfree audio
agent with ofono: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name
org.ofono was not provided by any .service files

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
This is logged since a while on that desktop (default ubuntu install)

[pulseaudio] backend-ofono.c: Failed to register as a handsfree audio
agent with ofono: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name
org.ofono was not provided by any .service files

  Googling about it:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/37132033/ofono-dbus-introspection-method-not-found

https://github.com/pulseaudio/pulseaudio/blob/master/src/modules/bluetooth/backend-ofono.c

Also note Debian has more recent version:

http://metadata.ftp-master.debian.org/changelogs/main/p/pulseaudio/pulseaudio_11.1-4_changelog

note: that install has no 'ofono' package installed; and sound works
  as expected.
