Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
No sound at all with Ubuntu 11.10. All solutions given for 11.04 (and
that are supposed to be integrated in 11.10) are inneffective.
Also tried to use module-assistant in order to recompile the alsa-
driver but build of the module fails with m-a.
Instalaltion of the module from alsa-source give an unkown symbol
error at module load.
