  PCI/internal sound card not detected

Bug description:
  I was trying to fix a different sound problem and now my device isn't
  detected anymore. It used to only have the problem where the headphone
  jack would mute the speakers when I plugged in my headphones but there
  would be no sound in the headphones. I followed this guy's
  instructions which got me to where I am now:
