Public bug reported:
When the screen is locked, typing anything on the keyboard doesn't lead
to the password prompt. Instead, the desktop / open applications are
shown for a few seconds, but the session is not unlocked, the gnome-
shell crashes and the lock screen is back on. After that, the kernel log
says:

If libreoffice is open during this procedure, it is killed. The kernel
