Title: circumflex accent in a password is not hidden properly Status in gnome-terminal package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: The circumflex accent ^ in a password on azerty keyboard leads to the character being displayed transparently on screen. It happens in gnome-terminal but also on the user login screen. What is expected to happen: the character ^ is hidden properly What actually happened: pressing the ^ key once displays the character, pressing it twice displays a dot.
