Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better.
I can confirm this issue, both based on your screenshot and what I see on my own login screen. I'm fairly certain this is a duplicate and that I've seen the same issue reported earlier, but I cannot find that report right now. Also, since I don't believe shadow deal with the graphical parts of login, I've taken the liberty of moving this to gdm3. Feel free to move again if this isn't the right place either :) ** Package changed: shadow (Ubuntu) => gdm3 (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: gdm3 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gdm3 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1867081 Title: Password textbox misaligned with username Status in gdm3 package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: When I wake my computer and login the textbox for the password is aligned slightly to the right.
