If were using Nvidia before then the problem might have been bug
1845801.
Since this bug won't be used anymore I will close it now.

Bug description:
On a fresh clean 19.10 install, a login loop evolves after a couple of
reboots.
The gdm package is likely the culprit. None of the recommendations in

fix it.
