Gnome Fonts viewer freezes and then crashes whenever I launch the app
and scroll downwards

Bug description:
Whenever I open gnome-fonts-viewer in Focal, or Eoan, and then scroll
downwards, even if I did not install any fonts and am only using the
fonts supplied with the system, Gnome-fonts will freeze, and in some
cases render the entire system unusable because of its freezes.
To reproduce:
Simply Launch Gnome-Fonts-Viewer and scroll downwards.
Focal-Fossa Beta.
