Title:
Activities missing stuff when using dual monitors

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
This is mostly just cosmetic, but when I use a second monitor with my
laptop, and click the Activities in the upper left-hand corner, it
looks like it is missing the bottom half of the icons for the
applications, and perhaps other things I'm searching for. See the
screenshot attached. It looks fine when I'm using only the builtin
  monitor on the laptop.
