I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. If I started Evince and selected a file - same result. UNTIL NOW I started Evince, selected a file en there it was correctly in Evince. clicking haphazard .pdf files works fine again.
