This bug still persists. A word being typed is not recognized at all
until you press Space. I've attached a video showing how it can be a
security risk.

Using ibus-unikey 0.6.1-1.1ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 20.04 Beta.

Bug description:
  Chatting in Facebook chat, I'm typing like in the middle of the word,
  then I press Enter. And then I notice that the last word which I was
  typing recently is sent but not in a complete form.
