Hi Daniel,

> Since your setup only uses gnome-shell in the host and not the guest
it

Host is KDE Plasma, guest is GNOME => I have problems with clipboard
when I close virt-manager or shutdown the guest => no problems

So if I remove GNOME from the equation, then it's OK.

Title:
hanging clipboard when CTRL+X / CTRL+V text between two Ubuntu Focal
VMs or between laptop and VM

Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Could you please try install:

  - Kubuntu 20.04 Focal desktop on bare metal (laptop)
  - Upgrade all packages
  - Install virtualization as usually (qemu-kvm, libvirt, virt-manager)
  - Install Ubuntu 20.04 inside a VM
  - upgrade all packages in the VM
  - Start copying (CTRL+X, CTRL+V) plain text between the Kubuntu on laptop and
Ubuntu inside VM?

Doesn't take too long - doesn't need to much testing. After a couple
of trials, the clipboard will hang and you loose the text in
  clipboard...

I don't remember such issues in past. Copying worked fine when I used
virt-manager a couple of years ago.

Thank you all great people in Canonical for Ubuntu.
  Ian
