Title:
  20.04 Software installer is not installing .deb file that it installed
  on 19.4

Status in gnome-software package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I installed 3 different applications from their downloaded .deb files
  via Ubuntu Software app in 19.4. Attempting to reinstall them on 20.04
  using the same steps has failed
