Title:
Broken xdriinfo on Ubuntu 18.04 breaks driconf

Status in x11-utils package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
driconf doesn't work on Ubuntu 18.04. The reason is that xdriinfo
fails with "Screen 0: not direct rendering capable." There appears to
be a fix for this upstream:

https://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/app/xdriinfo/commit/?id=6273d9dacbf165331c21bcda5a8945c8931d87b8

Building my own xdriinfo from the upstream source code fixed the
problem for me. Please consider updating xdriinfo for Ubuntu 18.04 to
  unbreak driconf.
