One of the attachments suggests you have a locally modified version of
the apparmor profile for firefox, and it looks quite different from the
version shipped by the package. Are you sure you disabled apparmor? You
should unload the firefox profile, rather than completely disabling
apparmor for the system:

    sudo apparmor_parser -R /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.firefox

  on ubuntu 20.04, firefox does not start well

Bug description:
  I have upgraded from ubuntu 19.04 to 20.04 this morning.
  and now firefox asks to restart.

  I have also tested with a fresh firefox profile, and it is the same
  problem.

  the console shows the following error message
