Bug description:
Have a new build with an ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G HDMI
SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard. Upon first install of 10.10
everything worked fine for about a week. Turned on one day and there
was no sound. Nothing was muted, speakers worked, etc. Installed XP on
system, and after installing sound drivers sound worked on XP.
Reinstalled linux and sound worked again. Worked for 2-3 weeks but
once again I have no audio. Have tried uninstalling ALSA, installing
it again and a couple other things I have read around on the internet
including following the directions here
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/InstallingLinuxAlsaDriverModules , to no
avail. Have kernal Linux 2.6.35-23-generic.
