Bug description:
I am dual booting Ubuntu 10.10 and Windows 7. Whenever I shut
down/reboot from Ubuntu to Ubuntu my sound is only static. If I shut
down/restart from Windows to Ubuntu, then my sound works. I have
reinstalled Alsa and Pulse several times as well as my drivers. This
problem first manifested in Ubuntu 10.04 and persisted when I upgraded
to 10.10.
