Title:
Sound from any source plays back WAYYY too fast.
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I have an RME HDSP MADI card. At first I noticed that PulseAudio
doesn't even reconize the device, which Ubuntu did in 10.04 Lucid. I
purged all PulseAudio packages and installed ALSA from the normal
repository. I have sound and all of the options in the Alsamixer seem
to work better than in 10.04, however upon opening a flash video,
bluray video, mp3 or any kind of audio, the video and audio playback
are at light speed. I would say, maybe 5 times faster than normal.
This all happened on a live daily build ISO.
I hope to run Ardour on Ubuntu 12.04 in the future with this sound
card, would be nice if it worked on release day!
Thanks.
Ben
