  [Aspire 5920, Realtek ALC1200, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all
  after modification of "/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf"

Bug description:
  I have checked alsamixer settings. They are fine. I am not experienced
  Ubuntu user. There was no sound via headphones so I have modified
  sound settings as instructed. As a result all sound has vanished.
  Thank you for any assistance. I use Ubunitu 12.10
