Hi Alexander! Thanks for your bug report. If you install the latest
updates (ie the package 'aptdaemon' needs to be at version
'0.43+bzr756-0ubuntu1') then you should find that installing and
removing software in software-center works again. Please continue to
report any bugs you may find. Thanks again for your help!

Hi,
I m using Precise (daily 2012-01-02). I have tried to install several
packages using Software center with no success. Gnome Shell, Adobe
Flash or VLC installation have the same behaviour... after finding the
package on the list, I click on the install button but nothing
happens... after checking with the terminal, there is no package
installed.
