Bug description:
Just installed Ubuntu 10.10 onto an Acer Inspiron 9815. Problem is
that sound works ok on headphones but nothing at all comes from the
speakers using Movie Maker, Rhythmbox, Firefox. The same result when
using the GUI and terminal sound tests. I've installed all the latest
Ubuntu updates and tried the onboard troubleshooting suggestions
(except switching off the on board speaker in the BIOS). The speakers
had previously worked fine on Vista.
