Title:
Sound stops working after service lightdm restart
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I did the following
sudo service lightdm stop
wait 2 days
sudo service lightdm start
After this, the sound did not work. Restarting pulseaudio did not work. It
was a problem with alsa.
When playing a video or audio with mplayer, the position stays at 0:00.
Playing videos with flash skips the content without playing the sound.
