Title:
[4180MF9, Conexant CX20590, Black Headphone Out, Right] fails after a
while
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Hi
This problem has now been occuring for the past week or so. While I
used to be able to have the audio output play via the Headphone Out.
It then started switching between the internal speakers and the
Headphone Out, then continued to mainly work via the internal speakers
and only sometimes via the Headphone Out to now practically only
working via the internal speakers.
The Alsa information I receive from running "wget -O alsa-info.sh
http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh && chmod +x ./alsa-info.sh &&
./alsa-info.sh" can be found here: www.alsa-
project.org/db/?f=156600ba6c7d853cc554e5c7cde96c72f2003884
I've tried fiddling around with "/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf" and
adding "options snd-hda-intel model=MODEL" (where I used auto,
generic, lenovo, thinkpad for MODEL) and rebooting - I'm afraid, that
didn't work.
I've also tried deleting ".pulse" and rebooting, this did also not
work.
Thanks for any support.
