Title:
[Aspire 4920, Realtek ALC268, Speaker, Internal] fails after a while

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:

I'm trying to play for example WMA files in the Totem Media Player, but after
some seconds, it starts to "falter", repeating parts, skipping parts. (The file
is not corrupt!)

Furthermore, in Chrome and Firefox, when I try to play a sound (for
example an MP3) or az embedded Flash video, the same problem occurs.
And sometimes Flash is playing in the sound 3-4x faster than it would
  be normal.
