@jds10, could you add a 'journalctl -b 0' log from the system after
triggering the issue?
The log attached in previous comment shows issues with the
LockKeysIndicator extension, could be due to it
the gnome-control-center situation shouldn't trigger again in focal
since the dynamic layout mode and the hidding of the sidebar has been
disabled now
