Title:
kpsepath missing
Status in texlive-base package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
The /usr/bin/kpsepath executable is effectively missing: it's a
symlink to a file that's only included in another package, which
texlive-base doesn (and probably shouldn't) depend on:
me@host:~$ dpkg -s texlive-base | grep Version
Version: 2019.20200218-1
me@host:~$ ls -l /usr/bin/kpsepath
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 Feb 17 14:37 /usr/bin/kpsepath -> kpsetool
me@host:~$ kpsetool
Command 'kpsetool' not found, but can be installed with:
sudo apt install texlive-extra-utils
