This issue has sat incomplete for over 5 years without any response to
comment #4. The report was raised against a very old release of Ubuntu
and did not expire due to the bug watch so I'm closing it as "Invalid".
Please feel free to re-open this bug report if this still an issue for

mixed rtsp and http playlist does not play in totem

The playlist at this location contains both rtsp and http streams. The rtsp
streams fail to play directly in any player I have tried (totem, mplayer and
vlc).
The rtsp stream appears first in the playlist. vlc seems to skip the streams
it can't play, but totem just throws an error on the first stream and gives up:
