Title:
evolution public certificate lookups in ldap fail
Status in evolution-data-server package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Looking up user's public certificates in AD/LDAP fail while looking up
with regular ldapsearch works without any issues.
ldapsearch -LLL -b DC=company,DC=com -H ldap://ADDC.company.com -Q -N
'(cn=username)' userCertificate -z 10 -o ldif-wrap=no
dn: CN=username,OU=CA,OU=User,OU=OU1,OU=ID,OU=OU2,DC=company,DC=com
userCertificate:: MII...truncated
Evolution can't look up these certificates and evolution's address
book processes hang even crash evolution.
The same configuration work both with ldapsearch and in thunderbird,
but thunderbird is not an alternative in this case.
