  Gnome-Settings-Mouse and scrollpad : side scrollbar setting works from
  time to time

Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Side scrollbar setting feature works from time to time . If you set it
  on and close the window it saves the setting and side scrollbar works
  . If you set it on and move to another menu item i.e. "Sound" or
  "search" it doesn't save the setting and switch it back to off.

  1. Open "Settings";
  2. Move to  "Mouse and scroll pad" item;
  3. Set Side scrollbar to on;
  4. Move to "Sound" item;
  5. Move to  "Mouse and scroll pad" item.

  E.R. Side scrollbar is on.
  A.R. Side scrollbar is off.

  Severity: low

  Environment:
  Ubuntu 20.04 LTS 64 bit Russian language
  Gnome 3.36.2
