Public bug reported:
I'm not so sure why this long lasting bug even exists.
If Wifi connection is not stable, it can kill the laptop,
and the only way to restart the computer if you hold the start button for
seconds.
(simply you can break your hardware)
The wifi process does not release anything, and you can't kill the driver,
you can't do anything with it. You just can loose whatever you were working on.
It's a long lasting bug appeared from the initial release of 18.0.
Reproduction rate is 100%, and even larger the release number is, even bad it
looks.
(18.5, every update is up-to-date)
Pls. fix this shit. There are many annoying really-really basic bugs on Ubuntu,
i'm not interested in re-branding, and i'm pretty sure, no user care about.
** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
