reassigning to apt if that's an issue with deb software, could you
perhaps do a short video showing the issue? could you explain what is
being slow exactly, is it the download? did you try using another mirror
or check your internet connection?

  ubuntu 20.04 is extremely slow to upgrade, install or uninstall any

any softwares take a long time to be done sometimes 2-3 hours.
