This is a library transition, but if there are no buildability
regressions and it's already staged in bileto I'm ok with this.

Title:
  [Ffe] openexr

Status in openexr package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
Openexr in Ubuntu is dated 2018, and suffers from lots of bugs, fixed
in the last two years by upstream.

Also some security fixes have been added in the Ubuntu packaging, but
  they are now superseeded by

  the new upstream changes.

The sync will bring the package again in a good shape, and I already
prepared the transition in bileto, with no issues and no regressions
  in buildability.

the changes between 2.3.0 and 2.5.3 are listed here

https://github.com/AcademySoftwareFoundation/openexr/blob/master/CHANGES.md#version-240-september-19-2019

  and the bileto/autopkgtests are here:
  https://bileto.ubuntu.com/#/ticket/4246

(note: kio-extras has a missing b-d in proposed pocket, unrelated to
  this)
