In a groovy setup
- Install nvidia drivers
- Restart your session
- Uninstall nvidia drivers
- Go back to gdm and try to login with "Wayland".
No ubuntu wayland session will be shown as available and the
/etc/gdm3/custom.conf file will just contain:
[daemon]
WaylandEnabled=false
