Title:
  Mouse pointer theme not honoured

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Since updating to the latest version, the mouse pointer/cursor in

on the desktop (or other non-snap applications).

The symptom looks identical to that shown on this ticket:
  https://github.com/brave/browser-laptop/issues/9772
