Title:
failure to display videos at major websites using FF 82 after upgrade
  to 20.04

Status in firefox package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
my FF will not properly display videos at facebook website, vimeo
website, twitter videos and animated gifs. several separate websites
exhibit problem. is it Ubuntu drivers? is it FF codecs?

I just upgraded to Ubuntu 20.04.01LTS. when I first installed Unbuntu
18, I had similar problem with FF. I don't remember what I had to do
to resolve problem then, but now I have problem again with this
upgrade install. I tend to believe that Ubuntu is culprit because FF
  automatically upgrades itself.

is this OS or the FF application?
I have not tried loading other browsers to see if they exhibit same problem.
