Title:
Nautilus (Files) app shows drive that was pulled out without unmount
Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I mount a flash drive onto my Ubuntu 18.04.5 instance.
Started writing data to it. While data is still being written to the
flash drive I pulled out the flash drive.
Looking at the Nautilus (Files) window, I still see the drive. Running
findmnt -S <drive/dir>, produces some output. None is produced when
offically unmounted.
When I plug the flash drive back in, a second instance of the drive
appears.
When drive is pulled, but Nautilus displays the drive, clicking on it
displays "Folder Empty" (or something close).
When drive is put back in and the second instance appears, clicking
either drive displays contents of drive.
This might be caused by a reference being held by the program writing
data to the drive.
