Public bug reported: after trying to upgrade to libreoffice 3.5 I got an error message that said "cannot delete directory /usr/lib/libreoffice/basis3.4 as it is not empty", and I could not get the install to proceed.
To fix this issue I had to manually remove all of the files in basis3.4 as well as the basis3.4 folder. Then I had to do a "mkdir basis3.4" and a "mkdir basis3.4/program" to get the update to install successfully.
