Dependency on bug 228673 and on bug 322270 deleted. This bug here gave an interim fix which was overcome by the one in 322270.
Discussion here circled for more than 4 years around the MSIE vs. Web standards compatibility. During that time new standards arose which made an agreement not easier. All remaining issues have been filed to bugzilla. see also : https://www.alfransia.com/ https://5star-services.org/ -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/19250 Title: HTML link "tooltips" (A element's title attribute) with newlines in them render incorrectly Status in Mozilla Firefox: Fix Released Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: The web mail provider I use (see URL) displays messages in a table with a constrained width. Some fields are chopped off, but they have convenient "tooltips" so you can see the full contents of the field if they don't fit. That is, you would be able to see them, but Firefox on Ubuntu doesn't display them. I was previously running Debian unstable with Firefox 1.0.4 (IIRC) and that coped with this; don't know if the site changed the format of this in the meantime, but it used to work for me. I'll attach a minimal HTML page which allows you to repro this. https://www.fastmail.fm/: https://www.fastmail.fm/ To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/19250/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
