1. Uninstall any gnome-shell extensions you might have added, because extensions are the most common cause of bugs. 2. I can initially login with XWayland, but something loading after the desktop appears, causes the session to exit. The only thing I can find relevant in the logs at the timestamp this occurred are the following: -gkr-pam: unable to locate daemon control file -Failed to start Process error reports when automatic reporting is enabled. -A start job for unit UNIT has failed I hope this helps track down the issue.
