description lacks details on why it should be considered as an issue important 
enough to be considered a rls issue and targetted to older series. Could you 
provide some rational on why you believe it's high importance?
Until we get more details we are rejecting the nomination since it sounds like 
a standard merge required and bugfix

  please merge ppp 2.4.9 for 21.04 and then consider ipv6 default fix
  for SRU

Bug description:
  Hi,
  due to this ML on devel-discuss [1] I realized that there is a new version 
that should be merged for Ubuntu 21.04 - and probably later [2] be 
considered/discussed for an SRU
  That new version is in Debian now [3] and I think it would be great to get 
that merged/synced.

  I guess ppp might be out-of-focus today, therefore per [4] I'm also
  pinging the Desktop team hoping this will help to get a look at it.
